If you’re coming to Khao Yai for its wildlife and waterfalls, staying close to the national park makes every morning easier. These private pool villa resorts are among the closest luxury options to the park’s northern gate.
Why proximity matters
The park’s gates open at 06:00, and wildlife is most active at first light. From the Mu Si area, the drive to the northern gate is short. From other areas it can take considerably longer, especially at weekends. Inside the park, sights can be 20 km apart, so an early start leaves time for everything.
